Job summary

Swan Christian Education Association Inc. invites applications for a full-time Mathematics Teacher at Mundaring Christian College (Secondary School).

The role is fixed-term, commencing 12 October 2026, covering Term 4 of 2026 and Terms 1–2 of 2027, and aligned with SCSA standards and WA Curriculum. You will plan engaging lessons, differentiate for diverse learners, and contribute to student wellbeing and College life within a supportive Christian school environment.

Qualifications

• Design engaging Mathematics lessons aligned with Western Australian Curriculum and SCSA standards.
• Differentiate teaching to support diverse learners and collaborate on CAPs/ILPs with Inclusive Education staff.
• Maintain accurate records and provide timely, evidence-based feedback and reporting (including TASS).
• Uphold Christian values in a safe, positive learning environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Mathematics courses in line with SCSA standards and relevant education frameworks, including planning, assessment, and reporting requirements.
• Plan and deliver engaging lessons that build numeracy, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills while supporting deep conceptual understanding.
• Differentiate teaching strategies to support diverse learners and collaborate on CAPs and ILPs with Inclusive Education staff.
• Apply effective classroom management and contribute to a safe, positive, and productive learning environment grounded in Christian values.
• Use a range of assessment strategies, maintain accurate records, and provide timely feedback and reporting (including TASS).
• Contribute to student wellbeing, collaborate with staff, engage in professional practice, and participate in College life and extracurricular activities.
