Qualifications

• Knowledge of the curriculum and ability to teach literacy and numeracy.
• Experience planning high impact teaching strategies and evaluating learning growth.
• Experience monitoring and assessing student learning using data for feedback.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, families and staff.
• Commitment to Department values and ongoing professional learning.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups and individuals.
• Contribute to development, implementation and evaluation of curriculum programs.
• Undertake classroom teaching related duties and coordinations as directed.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Undertake other supervisory duties as required.
