Insights Manager - Data & Analytics

Job Description

This opportunity is a hybrid between managing tactical objectives, day-to-day, as well as formulating and driving strategic objectives to drive transformational change for our clients.

What you’ll do
  • Reporting to the Director of Strategy and Insights you will be instrumental in driving data driven change across the CX landscape both from an operational and strategic perspective.
  • Manage a team of data scientists and analytic resources both onshore and offshore - to drive CX operational improvements across the world’s largest B2B and B2C brands.
  • Work with customers to isolate data driven improvements across their CX landscape, from marketing, sales through to the contact centre.
  • Partner with internal Strategy Consulting teams to help transition our data and analytics offering from a focus on operational improvements, to a blend between operational updates and strategic transformation.
  • Partner with our local and global technology teams in the use and deployment of AI applications that help aid in our ability to drive data driven outcomes for our customers.
  • Work with our strategic partners in deploying best in class data modelling tools on behalf of our customers to improve commercial modelling outcomes and performance.
  • Play a key role in helping our Account Managers grow our data and analytics capability within existing and new accounts.
  • Play a critical role in driving meaningful change within Concentrix-Catalyst on how we evolve our data and insights offering across AI/ technology, strategy and operational considerations and organisational functions.
What we’re looking for
  • A self-starter, with the ability to navigate complex environments; interested in both delivering and evolving our data and analytics offering.
  • Deep expertise in data manipulation and analysis.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Exceptional business and commercial acumen.
  • Managed teams in the past, and is familiar with both offshore and onshore team management.
  • Open to flexible work hours (an example 11am - 7pm)
  • Has spent time in management or technology consulting
  • Previous experience running commercial insights teams
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Ability to navigate an established process or framework, as well as the ability to think outside the box; the ability to switch between the two as required.
What you’ll bring
  • Extensive experience in Consulting, Insights, Data Science or a similar analytic role in a technology-driven environment
  • Demonstrated experience managing data science and analytic resources (offshore experience is a plus)
  • Demonstrated experience in providing data led commercial transformation and improvements within high pressure and complex environments.
  • Demonstrated experience in data manipulation, and excel modelling. (advanced modelling skills are advantageous)
  • Deep knowledge and proven capability in common data modelling techniques (e.g. uplift models, or RFM); a demonstrated ability to manage the end-to-end analytic process.
  • Strong internal and external stakeholder management, including engaging with and influencing C-level audiences.
  • Proven experience working within dynamic teams of account managers, strategists, tacticians and analytic resources.
  • Familiar with CX channel management and supporting digital channels. Experience in supporting Go-To-Market teams, and/or contact centre teams is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Science, Economics, or related field (Postgraduate qualifications desirable but not mandatory)
