Barwon Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join Baxter 6 in the Inpatient Oncology Unit, providing high-quality, evidence-based care in a high-acuity haematology and oncology environment. You will work with patients, families and the multidisciplinary team to support individualised care planning and positive outcomes.

This 12-month program includes structured rotations, dedicated clinical support, study days and ongoing professional development to build your oncology expertise and confidence.

Qualifikationen

• Registered Nurse with minimum of 12 months acute nursing experience at the commencement of program.
• Motivated and committed to building knowledge and clinical confidence.
• Effective communication, willingness to embrace feedback and work collaboratively to deliver safe, high-quality patient care.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and evidence-based practice.

Aufgaben

• Provide safe, high-quality and evidence-based nursing care in accordance with professional standards and Barwon Health requirements.
• Assess, plan, deliver and evaluate individualised patient care while establishing therapeutic relationships with patients and families.
• Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to support effective communication and continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation and contribute to patient safety, quality improvement, audits and service development initiatives.
• Maintain professional competence through ongoing education, mandatory training and continuing professional development.
