About the Role:

As Occupational Therapy Manager, you will lead a highly skilled inpatient team delivering rehabilitation and subacute care across the University of Canberra Hospital and Canberra Hospital. Working within a diverse clinical environment, you will help shape services that improve outcomes for people with neurological, orthopaedic, complex medical and age-related conditions.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced occupational therapist and leader to influence service delivery, workforce capability and clinical excellence. You will provide strategic and operational leadership to a dynamic team of occupational therapists and allied health assistants, oversee professional development and supervision, drive clinical governance activities, and contribute to service planning, innovation, research and quality improvement initiatives. As a valued member of the CHIC Allied Health leadership team, you will play a key role in strengthening patient-centred care across inpatient and community settings.

We are seeking a collaborative and forward-thinking professional with exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills. The successful applicant will bring strong organisational ability, sound clinical judgement, a solutions-focused mindset and the confidence to lead change in a complex healthcare environment. If you are passionate about developing high-performing teams, advancing occupational therapy practice and delivering meaningful outcomes for consumers, this role offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact across Canberra's health system.
