Job summary

Department of Education Victoria – Greater Geelong VIC is seeking a dedicated classroom teacher to join Yirrama Primary School’s growing community. The role focuses on planning, preparation and teaching programs to achieve student outcomes, with opportunities to contribute beyond the classroom as experience grows.

Two salary ranges apply (Range 1 and Range 2). You will work with a collaborative team to deliver high-quality, evidence-based teaching, monitor student progress, and support wellbeing

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups of students and individual students.
• Contribute to development, implementation and evaluation of a curriculum.
• Undertaking other classroom teaching related and organisational duties.
• Participating in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Undertaking other non-teaching supervisory duties.
