Job summary

Harting Technologies Group seeks an experienced professional to lead new product development from ideation to market validation. You will coordinate with customers and cross-functional teams to ensure rapid prototyping and successful launches that meet user requirements.

The role requires a Master’s degree in engineering, 3+ years in NPD, and strong English and Mandarin communication skills. Travel to customer sites and industry events is expected.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in engineering (mechanical or electromechanical) is required.
• 3+ years of experience in new product development.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional teamwork skills.
• Proficiency with 3D/2D modeling and simulation tools.

Responsibilities

• Ideation, conceptualization and development of new products with customer alignment.
• Coordinate with internal/external customers and project teams; manage projects.
• Prototype rapidly and collaborate with early adopters to validate market potential.
• Communicate results and market potential to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Support patent applications and participate in industry events; willingness to travel.
• Scan for new technologies and initiate multi-regional collaborations.
• Operate and maintain lab equipment; perform other duties as assigned.
