Job summary

Infosys Melbourne is seeking a skilled engineer to lead end-to-end technology designs for projects in an agile squad. The role focuses on delivering high-quality, cost-effective solutions aligned with enterprise standards and utilizing Java/J2EE, Spring, and microservices.

You will work with CI/CD practices, Docker/OpenShift/Kubernetes, and data streaming technologies like Kafka. Hybrid working arrangements are available.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in design & build using Java/J2EE.
• Hands-on experience with IBM Infosphere MDM Advanced Edition v11.x.
• CI/CD, automated testing and performance engineering experience.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies.
• Experience working with Git version control.
• Experience with container technologies: Docker, OpenShift, Kubernetes.
• Strong Java/J2EE/Spring/Microservice/API development skills.
• Kafka and stream processing experience.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions).
• Maven, JUnit, Mockito, SonarQube, JaCoCo, JMeter experience.
• Python and/or shell scripting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end accountability for delivering high-quality, cost-effective, enterprise-aligned technology designs for projects and releases.
• Work in a squad and collaborate with tribe members to achieve business outcomes using agile methods.
