Job summary

Fisher Investments Australia is seeking an Information Security Engineer to drive secure architectural implementations, deploy systems, and manage enterprise risk across our Australasian operations. The successful candidate will collaborate with Technology and Governance teams to support global growth.

Based in Sydney, you will design, implement and upgrade security controls, and continuously learn new technologies while aligning with enterprise strategies and standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years IT experience across business planning, systems analysis and application development.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in information security.
• University degree or equivalent combination of education/experience required.
• Technical certifications or related credentials desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-user controls and defensive measures.
• Implement security architectures (systems) and standards.
• Independently design, develop and implement processes to support departmental goals.
• Perform upgrades of existing network and security infrastructures.
• Work with senior IT staff to ensure proper system integration and adherence to policy and standards.
• Implement defined enterprise system strategies to support corporate programs.
• Continuously learn new technologies and concepts in the industry.
• Research and recommend new security technologies for Fisher Investments.
• Provide technical experience in automating security implementations and monitoring enforcement.
