Job summary

ANZUK Education in a welcoming Melbourne community centre is seeking a Diploma-qualified Infant Educator to join a friendly, collaborative team. The role offers permanent full-time hours with set shifts, Monday to Friday, and a fortnightly day off to support wellbeing and planning.

You will design engaging, developmentally appropriate activities for infants, communicate clearly with families, and contribute to an inclusive, progressive early learning program in a beautiful space.

Qualifications

• Diploma or ACECQA-equivalent qualification in early childhood education.
• Experience in planning programmes and age-appropriate activities for infants.
• Strong communication with children, families and team.
• Minimum 1 year experience with children (excluding placements).
• Current Working With Children Check for Victoria.
• CPR & First Aid certification.
• Child Protection and Child Safety Training (MR & Geccko).
• Full-time, ongoing working rights in Victoria.

Responsibilities

The Opportunity

We’re searching for a passionate, Diploma qualified educator ready to bring fresh ideas and collaborate with an established team. This is a permanent full‑time role with set shifts Monday to Friday, along with a fortnightly RDO.

You’ll work with a small team of educators to shape engaging programs. The centre invests heavily in educator wellbeing, regular non‑contact programming time, and ongoing professional development.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Holds a Certificate III, Diploma of Early Childhood Education or ACECQA equivalent qualification.
• Has experience in programme planning, designing meaningful and age appropriate activities and enjoys working with infants.
• Communicates effectively with team members, children, and families, both verbally and in writing.
• Has at least 1 year of experience working with children (excluding placement experience).
• Current Working With Children Check for Victoria
• CPR & First Aid certification
• Child Protection and Child Safety Training (MR & Geccko)
