Job summary
TREADWELL ELECTRICAL SERVICES in Braybrook, VIC, is seeking a Maintenance Electrician with industrial contracting experience. The role covers industrial installations, fault finding on PLC systems, and preventative maintenance across varied sites.
The ideal candidate holds an A Grade Electrical Licence, 1–2 years of relevant experience, and a White Card with a valid Driver’s Licence. There is after‑hours roster with a vehicle allowance and overtime.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1–2 years of maintenance/industrial electrical experience.
- Current A Grade Electrical Licence.
- White Card and valid Driver's Licence.
- Strong diagnostic, fault‑finding, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and unsupervised.
- A commitment to workplace safety.
Responsibilities
- Work on industrial installations, manufacturing lines, and motor control faults.
- Troubleshoot, modify, replace, and commission electrical equipment.
- Carry out preventative and planned maintenance work.
- Fault find on PLC and automation‑controlled systems.
- Work on hazardous area (Ex) installations (training available for the right candidate).
- Participate in a rotating after‑hours call‑out roster, which attracts a vehicle, allowance, and overtime.
