Job summary

Chandler Macleod is seeking an experienced Utility & Facilities Manager for Northmead, NSW to lead facilities operations at a major manufacturing site, focusing on safety, compliance and continuous improvement. You will oversee contractor performance, capital projects and regulatory requirements, working with site leaders to ensure safe, efficient and cost-effective facilities.

This role requires proactive leadership, strong stakeholder engagement and the ability to deliver high service

Qualifications

• Experience managing facilities management contracts and service providers.
• Experience delivering capital works projects in industrial environments.
• Knowledge of permit-to-work, HSE requirements, and contractor management.

Responsibilities

• Manage external Facilities Management providers and performance.
• Oversee hard and soft facilities services, maintenance, cleaning, waste, and compliance.
• Ensure safe, efficient, cost-effective facilities and infrastructure.
• Coordinate contractor activities and permit-to-work processes.
• Monitor health, safety, environmental and regulatory compliance.
• Lead facilities-related continuous improvement initiatives.
• Report on facilities performance, budgets, risks and project delivery.
• Manage minor capital works from planning to handover.
• Partner with site leadership to support operational continuity.
