Job summary

InfraBuild in Geelong is seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Technician to deliver high-quality electrical maintenance across site operations. You will help maximise equipment uptime, minimise downtime and support continuous improvement in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• A Grade Electrical Licence – essential for safe oversight of site-based electrical work.
• Cert III in Electrotechnology as a foundation for hands-on maintenance.
• Proven experience with Siemens PLCs, ABB drives and AC/DC motor systems.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills across industrial electrical and control systems.
• Exposure to instrumentation, automation, or control systems (Cert IV highly regarded).
• Experience in heavy industry or combustion equipment; SAP knowledge advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Execute preventative and breakdown maintenance to maximise equipment uptime and reliability.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical, instrumentation and control faults efficiently.
• Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to optimise fixed plant performance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and root cause analysis initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, procedures, and site requirements.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
