Pipemakers in Deer Park, Melbourne, is seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our maintenance team. You will help keep production moving by maintaining and improving electrical systems and equipment in a hands-on manufacturing setting.

You’ll diagnose faults, perform preventative maintenance, and ensure compliance with Australian Standards and safety requirements. Strong fault-finding and teamwork are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience maintaining industrial machinery and electrical systems.
• Good understanding of electrical standards, regulations and workplace safety.
• Ability to read technical information and follow procedures.

Responsabilités

• Install, maintain and repair electrical systems, machinery and equipment.
• Diagnose faults and carry out timely repairs to minimise production downtime.
• Complete preventative maintenance, inspections and testing.
• Test and calibrate equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.
• Identify opportunities to improve electrical systems and equipment efficiency.
• Work closely with production and maintenance teams to resolve issues.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with Australian Standards and relevant regulations.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and electrical compliance documentation.
• Manage electrical parts, consumables and maintenance supplies.
• Support maintenance planning and contribute to estimates and work schedules.
• Provide technical guidance and support to other team members.
• Follow safe work practices, including isolation procedures and testing for dead.
• Participate in safety inspections, risk assessments and continuous improvement activities.

Pipemakers is looking for a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our maintenance team at Deer Park.

About you

You’re a practical, safety-focused electrician who enjoys solving problems and working as part of a team.

You’ll bring:

• Current Victorian A Grade Electrical Licence
• At least 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills
• Experience maintaining industrial machinery and electrical systems
• Good understanding of electrical standards, regulations and workplace safety
• Ability to read technical information and follow procedures
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Good organisation and time management
• A reliable attitude and commitment to quality workmanship

Experience with industrial instrumentation, equipment calibration or production machinery will be highly regarded.
