Job summary

Sandblasters Sydney is seeking a reliable Industrial Blaster/Painter for active on-site projects in Sydney, NSW. You will prepare surfaces using sandblasting and apply high-performance coatings, including epoxy systems, while adhering to project schedules.

Trade-qualified candidates with ABN, own transport, and ability to work rotating shifts will be prioritized; on-site safety and environmental guidelines apply, and weekly invoicing is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial abrasive blasting and wet epoxy painting on-site.
• Must hold an active ABN.
• Reliability, punctuality, and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work rotating or fixed shift schedules.
• Industry tickets such as Blast and Paint, Confined Space, Working at Heights, White Card preferred.
• Own reliable transport to the site.

Responsibilities

• Perform surface preparation using abrasive blasting equipment to required standards (Sa 2.5 / SSPC-SP 10).
• Mix and apply industrial wet paints, including high-build epoxy coatings and primers.
• Inspect surfaces before and after application to ensure coating thickness and quality.
• Set up, operate, and maintain blasting and painting rigs safely.
• Adhere to on-site health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
• Complete shift work as scheduled by the site supervisor.
