Job summary

Ambius is seeking an Indoor Plantscape Technician in Sydney to service diverse clients across regions. The role covers sick and annual leave, offering variety and hands-on plant care, installation, and client liaison on site.

Ideal candidates will have horticulture experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work autonomously while adhering to safety standards. A full vehicle, phone, and ongoing training are provided.

Qualifications

• Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects.
• Ability to work autonomously and drive long distances.
• High attention to detail with drive to maintain high standards.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Indoor Plantscape Technician to join our team in Sydney. This is a dynamic role covering sick leave, annual leave, and assisting the wider team. While there is no locked-in permanent run, this position offers great variety, seeing you service different clients across various regions.

The main duties of this role are:

• Care and maintenance of indoor plants, including watering, fertilising, cleaning and pruning
• Installing and uninstalling plants on clients’ premises
• Loading and unloading the delivery trucks
• Communication with the client contact onsite

You will have experience and skills including:

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Horticulture certificate/experience (Desired)
• Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects
• Ability to work autonomously and drive long distances
• High attention to detail with drive to maintain high standards

• Valid Australian driver’s license
• As part of the recruitment process, you will be required to complete pre-employment medical, references and police checks
• Experience working independently to achieve set targets
• Ability to communicate with internal stakeholders and clients both verbally and in writing
• Confident using a mobile phone service app/tablet
• Manage, maintain and build upon client relationships
