Job summary

SchoolHouse has partnered with a large independent college in the south-eastern suburbs of Melbourne to appoint an Individual Learning Teacher for January 2027. This ongoing role supports primary students in Literacy and Numeracy within a progressive, high-performing learning environment.

The successful candidate will hold relevant teaching qualifications (Master of Teaching / BEd / PGCE) and postgraduate credentials in Special Education or literacy/numeracy intervention, and will be registered

Requirements

• Relevant tertiary qualification (e.g. Master of Teaching / Bachelor of Education / PGCE)
• Postgraduate tertiary qualifications in Special Education and/or qualifications in research based Literacy and Numeracy Intervention
• Experience implementing support for primary school children in Literacy and Numeracy
• Victorian Institute of Teachers registration (or eligibility to gain)
• Working Rights for Australia (or eligibility to gain) including Skilled Migrant Visa
