Job summary

University of New South Wales – Sydney NSW invites Expressions of Interest from Indigenous educators and professionals to join a casual Talent Pool as Curriculum Writer (Identified) across faculties including Business, Law & Justice, and Science.

Writers will contribute to Indigenous Knowledges in curriculum, draft course content, and work with faculty teams under an Indigenous curriculum lead, ensuring culturally responsive and high-quality materials.

Qualifications

• Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background required.
• Relevant degree with subsequent experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with attention to detail.
• Experience creating asynchronous educational content and using Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Review draft content to ensure Indigenous Knowledges are appropriately represented.
• Submit drafts for review and integrate feedback.
• Respond to guidance from the Indigenous curriculum lead and stakeholders.
• Provide evidence-informed explanations for content and assessment adjustments.
• Attend course-design meetings and conduct additional research if needed.
• Comply with health and safety policies.
