Job summary

The Kimberley Land Council (KLC) seeks a Carbon Program Manager to deliver services to Aboriginal Corporations with Savanna Carbon Projects and to support project proponents across the Kimberley. Based in the Broome office, the role involves capacity building, commercial negotiations, contractual management and grant administration, with exposure to new opportunities in the carbon economy.

Strong leadership, stakeholder engagement and project management experience are essential to help

Qualifications

• Three years supervisory experience in a similar role.
• Current valid driver's licence and a Working with ChildrenCheck (WWCC).
• Experience with carbon projects under ERF and knowledge of the Australian carbon market.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing strategic direction of the Carbon program and developing a consistent delivery framework.
• Co-management of carbon technical specialists and capacity building for Kimberley Aboriginal Corporations.
• Facilitating stakeholder engagement and regional collaboration within the sector.
