Electro Optic Systems is seeking two Quality Officers for Receipt Inspection at Hume, Canberra, to control what enters our supply chain. You will inspect and verify incoming materials against orders, drawings and specs, review Certificates of Conformity, and decide release or quarantine.

This hands-on role requires accuracy and pace across busy delivery windows; 2 fixed-term, full-time positions are available for 12 months at Hume, Canberra.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Electrical/ Electronic Engineering preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in similar role.
• Computer skills including Word, Excel, document management systems such as SharePoint.
• Sound knowledge/certification of relevant IPC standard(s) related to electronic assemblies is preferred.
• Previous experience in quality inspections.

Responsabilités

• Inspect incoming materials against purchase orders, drawings and specifications.
• Review supplier Certificates of Conformity and material certificates.
• Book receipts and inspection outcomes into the ERP system.
• Raise supplier non-conformances and track to closure.
• Maintain traceability records from goods arrival.
• Coordinate quality pre-transfer inspections of LRUs between Queanbeyan and Hume.
• Draft non-conformance reports and review corrective actions.
• Contribute to MRB process and implement product defects management.
• Support Quality team with ad hoc activities.
