Job summary

The Department of Education is seeking a Senior Curriculum Adviser (Inclusive Education) to lead design and policy for the Victorian Curriculum F-10, focusing on Foundation Levels A to D, inclusive education, literacy, numeracy and digital literacy, and equitable access for all students.

You will drive curriculum design, provide expert policy advice, and collaborate with educators and stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in education and/or policy in inclusive education, literacy and/or numeracy is essential.
• Classroom practice experience related to the role function is desirable.
• Demonstrated experience in project management, curriculum design and implementation, and resource development

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, monitoring and ongoing development of the Victorian Curriculum F-10 with focus on Foundation Levels A-D.
• Coordinate consultation and stakeholder engagement to inform curriculum policy and practice.
• Prepare high-quality governance materials, briefings and papers for executive decision-making.
• Support inclusion and equity initiatives across the Curriculum Design Unit and across the VCAA
