St Mary MacKillop College is Canberra’s largest secondary school, operating across two campuses: Years 7 to 9 at our Padua Campus in Wanniassa, and Years 10 to 12 at our St Peter’s Campus in Isabella Plains. Salary Range: $149,107 plus superannuation
Employment Status: Full-time

About the Role

The Inclusive Education Coordinator plays a key leadership role in ensuring all students have access to high-quality, inclusive learning opportunities. Working as part of the Curriculum Leadership Team and reporting to the Assistant Principal, Teaching and Learning, the Coordinator leads a team of Classroom Support Teachers and Classroom Support Assistants to implement and monitor inclusive education practices within the College. This role involves providing guidance and support to classroom teachers to meet diverse student needs, developing programs and interventions based on principles of equity, and utilising data to track student progress and the effectiveness of inclusive strategies. The Coordinator also manages departmental processes, including staffing, student allocations, and resources, while maintaining compliance with College policies and relevant legislation. By fostering collaboration with colleagues, leadership, and families, the Inclusive Education Coordinator contributes to a culture of excellence, inclusion, and student success across the College.
