Job summary

Uniting Preschool Caves Beach is seeking a Cert III Inclusion Support Educator to support a child in our preschool. The role is part-time, Thursday and Friday, 8:30am–3:30pm, with an hourly rate of $30.28–$35.34 plus super and salary packaging benefits.

You will build relationships with families, support inclusion and participation, and collaborate with the team to deliver inclusive learning experiences while maintaining documentation and compliance.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Children’s Services.
• Current Working with Children Check.
• GECKKO National Child Protection Training Certificate.
• First Aid Certificate.
• Working Rights Check.
• Understanding of inclusive practice and supporting children with diverse needs.
• Ability to build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Build a positive, trusting and respectful relationship with the child and their family.
• Support the child’s learning, development, inclusion and sense of belonging.
• Work in partnership with the Educator team and family to implement inclusive learning experiences and strategies.
• Respond to the child’s individual needs, support their emotional regulation, and encourage their engagement and participation in the learning environment.
• Contribute to a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment for all children.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow relevant policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Work as part of a collaborative team and contribute to the ongoing quality of the service.

Uniting Preschool Caves Beach is looking for a Cert III Inclusion Support Educator to join our team and provide dedicated support to a child within our preschool environment.
