Job summary

Qualifications

  • RG 146 and a deep understanding of the superannuation administration processes.
  • Knowledge of the superannuation regulatory environment, taxation rules impacting superannuation, and changes impacting the regulatory and legislative environment.
  • The ability to effectively communicate with and manage internal and external stakeholders to achieve required outcomes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, including ability to interact with clients.
  • A curious, open, and growth mindset, with the ability to apply creative and pragmatic approaches to solving problems.

Responsibilities

  • Manage superannuation administration incidents including validation, remediation, root cause analysis and reporting actions taken to rectify and mitigate recurrence.
  • Apply client/fund specific rules and policies to ensure timely analysis, rectification, and prevention of incidents.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to review, rectify and prevent incidents per laws, policies, and SLAs.
  • Perform data analysis and complex calculations including compensation calculations and adjustments to member accounts.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventive steps to reduce recurrence.
  • Ensure incident reporting is maintained and attend Client Incident meetings as required.

Incident Resolution Analyst
Location: Wollongong
Description

This role is responsible for managing superannuation administration incidents, including validation, remediation, root cause analysis and reporting actions taken to rectify and mitigate reoccurrence of business incidents.

Job specification

Apply advanced knowledge of client/fund specific rules and policies and appropriate law in the context of operational systems/processes and policies, to ensure the timely and efficient analysis, rectification and prevention of incidents.

Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the prompt review, rectification and prevention of incidents in accordance with relevant law, internal policies and contractual obligations/service level agreements.

Conduct incident assessments to understand and document on impacts, appropriate rectification plans and ensure execution of such plans to remediate all impacted parties.

Analysis of data and completion of complex calculations including compensation calculations and where necessary, apply adjustments to member accounts.

Conduct and document thorough root cause analysis and work with internal and external stakeholders to develop and implement prevention steps to reduce the likelihood of recurrence.

Ensure internal and external incident reporting are maintained.

Attend Client Incident meetings as required.
