Job summary

MacKillop Family Services Pty invites applications for a Part Time, ongoing role in the Family Preservation & Reunification Program based in Midura VIC. You will work with a collaborative team and report to the FPRR Practice Leader to strengthen families and coordinate with local services.

The role focuses on intensive home-based support, risk assessment, cultural safety, and continuous improvement of practice within a sector-leading program in Victoria.

Qualifications

• Experience in assessment and clinical interventions with vulnerable children, young people and families.
• Knowledge of relevant child welfare acts and practice models.
• Skills in risk assessment and safety planning.
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work collaboratively across services.

Responsibilities

• Deliver in-home outreach to improve family safety and wellbeing.
• Support parenting and child development using family-focused approaches.
• Lead holistic assessments and monitor outcomes.
• Collaborate with families, services and networks for integrated care.
• Provide culturally safe, inclusive practice.
• Contribute to quality practice through coaching, supervision, and training.
• Deliver clinical support and maintain documentation.
• Provide crisis and after-hours support.
