Job summary

Southern Cross Community Healthcare is seeking Disability Support Workers to assist a 44-year-old male with a brain injury in Langwarrin, VIC to live independently at home. Roles require values-aligned care, with training provided and support from healthcare professionals.

Mandatory items include references, a valid driver’s license with own car, NDIS screening, First Aid, and Working with Children checks. Shift times include Thursday 13:00–17:00 with competitive hourly pay and development

• NDIS workers screening check or willing to obtain (mandatory)
• First Aid certificate or willing to obtain (mandatory)
• Passionate about caring and committed to client wellbeing
• Paid Working with Children’s Check or willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Social support and respite for the client.
• Assist in helping the client live independently within their home.
• Work under supervision of qualified healthcare professionals and follow care plans.
