Job summary

Optimum Care Group in Coleraine is seeking a Community Care Worker to support vulnerable adults in their homes. You will provide personal care, medication reminders, and companionship to help clients maintain independence.

The role offers a permanent, flexible schedule with day and evening shifts, a market-rate hourly wage of £13.20 with additional bonuses and benefits, and a fast-moving induction process. You will join a team that values dignity, safety, and high-quality in-home care.

Qualifications

• Desire to care for vulnerable adults in their home.
• Full driving licence.
• Access to a car & car insurance for business use.
• Access to own mobile phone.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal washing, showering, bathing/bed bathing and dressing.
• Provide refreshments and light snacks.
• Promptly administer medication.
• Assist with practical support such as light cleaning, washing, laundry, maintaining spectacles, false teeth and hearing aids.
• Assist client to move safely using moving & handling aids, hoists and slide sheets.
• Provide a care‑sitting service to give respite to other carers.
• Promote client independence and choice, upholding rights and dignity.
