Job summary

Mecwacare is seeking compassionate carers to provide essential cleaning and practical support to clients living independently across the Mornington Peninsula.

This casual role offers flexible start and finish times, induction and training, and work close to home in Mornington with clients across Mt. Eliza, Mornington and Rosebud-Portsea. You will need reliable transport, empathy and reliability, and be willing to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check if not already held.

Qualifications

• Experience in home care or cleaning is helpful.
• NDIS screening check required or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to relate to older people with empathy and patience.

Responsibilities

• Tidying and cleaning the home, including kitchen and bathroom.
• General dusting, vacuuming, mopping, making beds and assisting with washing and shopping.
• Travel to clients' homes across Mornington Peninsula with own transport.
