Job summary

Aurecon is seeking an urban planning professional to grow their consulting career, delivering planning services across infrastructure and development projects. You will work with experienced planners and multidisciplinary specialists, supporting research, approvals and client outcomes while building technical knowledge and consulting capability.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in urban planning, environmental planning or a related discipline.
3–6 years of experience in urban, environmental, infrastructure or development planning.
Working knowledge of statutory and/or strategic planning, policy review, development assessment, infrastructure planning or environmental approvals.
Ability to write concise reports and present planning information clearly.

Responsibilities

Support project delivery across statutory planning, regulatory approvals, strategic planning, feasibility and environmental assessment.
Prepare planning outputs including research, site and policy analysis, and client presentations.
Navigate planning requirements by interpreting legislation and approval pathways.
Work collaboratively with planners and specialists across disciplines to deliver integrated advice.
Engage with clients and stakeholders in meetings and project communications.
Contribute to team growth by sharing knowledge and supporting proposals.
