Job summary

SACARE is seeking experienced Casual Support Workers to join our SIL home in Salisbury, SA. You will empower participants to achieve goals with personal care, meals, community access and behaviour support in a safe, structured environment.

Ideal applicants have experience with high/complex needs, current checks (NDIS, DHS WWCC), First Aid/CPR, and a Certificate III in a related field. Flexible shifts and ongoing training are available.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience supporting participants with high and complex behaviours of concern
• Experience in SIL, residential, facility or accommodation-based disability support settings
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Current DHS Working With Children Check
• Current First Aid Certificate with CPR
• Current Manual Handling Certificate
• Unrestricted Driver's Licence
• Basic Continence Aid Training (RTO)
• Assistance with Medication Training (RTO)
• Strong communication, de-escalation and participant engagement skills
• Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
