Job summary

Department of Education Victoria's Inner Gippsland Student Support Services invites applications for a Speech Pathologist to join the SSS team in Warragul. You will assess and develop strategies addressing communication and educational needs of children within a school context, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support language and literacy practice.

The role is ongoing, full-time at 0.6 FTE, located in Inner Gippsland (Warragul Office).

Qualifications

• Graduate or post-graduate qualification in Speech Pathology.
• Eligible for membership of the Speech Pathology Australia (SPA).
• Current Australian Drivers’ Licence.
• Working with Children Check.

Responsibilities

• Assess and develop strategies to address communication and educational needs of children and young people within a school context.
• Provide comprehensive speech pathology services to schools to support student engagement and learning.
• Provide high-level professional advice to principals and school networks regarding language and literacy practice.
