Job summary

NSW Health in Sydney is seeking a Health Promotion Officer to support HIV and related programs across South Western Sydney. The role focuses on health education, community engagement, and workforce capacity building to reduce HIV and BBV transmission and improve sexual health outcomes.

The role requires tertiary health qualifications and a NSW driver’s license; we value experience in program planning, implementation, evaluation and reporting within diverse communities.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in health or related field.
• Tell us about a significant HIV, BBV or sexual health program you have led or supported, including planning, implementation, evaluation and reporting.
• Applicants must possess an Australian C‑Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those with a C class license from another state must obtain NSW license within three months of appointment.
