Job summary

Qualifications

• SC1: Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum, including literacy and numeracy skills; respond to student learning needs.
• SC2: Plan and implement high impact teaching strategies and evaluate learning growth.
• SC3: Monitor and assess student learning and use data to inform teaching and provide feedback.
• SC4: Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills; build collaborative relationships with students, parents and staff.
• SC5: Align with Department values and engage in ongoing professional learning.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups and individuals.
• Contribute to curriculum development and evaluation.
• Undertake other teaching and organisational duties as directed by leadership.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings and staff meetings.
• Engage in induction and professional learning to improve teaching quality.
