Job summary

Hearing Australia is recruiting an Audiologist to assess non-complex adult clients, provide rehabilitative support including hearing aid fittings, and coordinate with NDIA and families to deliver best outcomes.

The role involves visiting sites and home visits, with a focus on excellent customer service.Ideal candidates will hold a tertiary Audiology degree, be a current member of the Audiology Society of Australia, and be willing to travel to other locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Audiology and current professional membership.
• Knowledge of Australian Hearing practice methods and standards.
• Experience with NDIA and Hearing Services Program.
• Willingness to travel to other locations to undertake clinical work.
• Ability to adapt clinical practices to policies and changes.

Responsibilities

• Assess non-complex adult clients per Australian Hearing practice methods and standards.
• Provide rehabilitation including fitting hearing aids and assistive devices.
• Refer clients to other professionals or seek guidance from senior audiologists.
• Participate in visiting sites and home visits.
• Liaise with NDIA representatives and families to ensure best outcomes.
• Engage in marketing/public relations activities in the community.
• Provide excellent customer service and manage client load.
