Job summary

The Department of Families, Fairness and Housing Victoria is seeking a Team Leader for the Family Law Program in Melbourne CBD to lead a team of advisers, oversee risk management, and ensure high-quality responses to the FCFCoa within child protection and family law contexts.

You will work across metropolitan and regional Victoria, require a current Working with Children Check, and be prepared to travel as needed; a strong focus on collaboration with stakeholders will be essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in government or public sector environments.
• Ability to provide high-quality policy and operational advice.
• Strong communication skills for diverse stakeholders.
• Experience coordinating with family law and child protection authorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Family Law Program advisers to deliver expert guidance to the FCFCoa.
• Oversee risk management and information-sharing practices between child protection and family law systems.
• Provide strategic policy and operational advice on information sharing and inter-agency agreements.
