Job summary

Animal Referral Hospital Brisbane is seeking a full-time Imaging Veterinary Nurse to join our state-of-the-art imaging team. You will assist with patient care, anaesthetic monitoring, and high-quality image acquisition across modalities, including ultrasound, radiography, CT and MR when available.

You will work closely with imaging staff to ensure safety, documentation, and the smooth operation of daily schedules, providing exceptional client and patient care in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• A Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or higher is required.
• Competent monitoring anaesthetics is essential.
• Experience in diagnostic imaging and knowledge of equipment across modalities is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and high standards are expected.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care and safety during imaging procedures.
• Support image quality and acquisition across modalities.
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging and anaesthetic equipment.
• Manage imaging room stock, cleaning, and safety.
• Document patient information and keep forms updated.
