Job summary

Axiom Technologies is seeking experienced Microsoft Security professionals to support enterprise security initiatives. The role focuses on Active Directory, Entra ID, Windows Hello for Business and Purview across large, governed environments.

You will assess security gaps, implement hardening measures and coordinate with cybersecurity, infrastructure and managed service teams to deliver secure solutions. This is a technical, enterprise-focused position in Australia.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Active Directory and Group Policy.
• Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID and Hybrid Identity.
• Experience with Windows Hello for Business.
• Knowledge of Purview and Microsoft 365 Security.
• Expertise in security hardening, risk assessment, testing and deployment.

Responsibilities

• Assess and remediate Active Directory security and hardening gaps.
• Analyse AD, GPO, Kerberos, NTLM, LDAP, SMB and privileged access configurations.
• Perform security impact assessments and develop implementation plans.
• Assess and support Entra ID and Windows Hello for Business enablement.
• Work on Conditional Access, Hybrid Identity, Entra Connect and device registration/join.
• Assess and enable Purview capabilities such as DLP, Sensitivity Labels and Information Protection.
• Perform log/telemetry analysis, testing and post-change validation.
• Prepare technical designs, test plans, implementation plans and validation reports.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, application, EUC and managed service teams.
• Support production implementation through outsourcing partner.
