Job summary

Qualifications

• Deep expertise in Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Active Directory, MIM, AD FS, Conditional Access, phishing-resistant MFA, SSO, Identity Governance, PAM, and Zero Trust/SASE integration frameworks.
• Proven track record as an Identity Solution Architect delivering enterprise IAM modernisations and legacy system transitions within complex government environments.
• Strong security documentation capabilities (SSP, SRMP, IRAP support) and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery, architecture, and technical design workshops across business, cyber security, and operational stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain current-state, transition-state, and target-state architecture artefacts including High Level Designs (HLDs), Detailed Solution Designs (DSDs), and Architecture Decision Records (ADRs).
• Define identity integration, modern authentication, Single Sign-On (SSO), and automated Joiner-Mover-Leaver (JML) workflow patterns centred on Microsoft Entra ID.
• Evaluate technical risks, constraints, and legacy dependencies across Active Directory, Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM), and AD FS.
• Draft and maintain critical security assurance documentation, including System Security Plans (SSPs) and Security Risk Management Plans (SRMPs), while supporting IRAP assessments and Authority to Operate (AtO) processes.
• Provide architecture assurance and ongoing technical leadership to engineering teams throughout solution build, deployment, and operational handover.
