Job summary

Calvary Adelaide & Calvary North Adelaide Hospitals in Adelaide, SA, are seeking an ICU Registrar to provide 24/7 onsite critical care across two hospital sites. You will work under intensivists with multidisciplinary support to deliver high-quality patient care.

Ideal candidates will have PGY3+ with ICU and anaesthetic training, current or eligible AHPRA registration, and strong leadership and teaching capabilities to guide staff and trainees.

Qualifications

• ICU experience providing high-quality patient care.
• Strong leadership, communication and teamwork in busy clinical environments.
• Commitment to teaching and supervising medical, nursing and allied health staff.
• Current AHPRA registration, or eligibility for full AHPRA registration within 12 months.
• PGY3 or above, with a minimum of 6 months ICU experience and 12 months anaesthetic training prior to commencement.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality critical care and clinical support within the ICU.
• Coordinate ICU admissions and discharges with the nurse in charge.
• Participate in the ICU roster, including after-hours and on-call commitments.
