Job summary

Healthscope in Hobart is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the ICU team on a full-time basis. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality, evidence-based, patient-centred care within a supportive team.

As an ICU nurse, you will plan, assess, implement and evaluate care, adhere to AHPRA standards, and contribute to teaching and mentoring of peers, ENs, graduates and students. Collaboration with the inter-disciplinary team is essential to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current AHPRA registration and working rights in Australia.
• 3+ years’ experience as a Registered Nurse in an acute ICU or HDU setting.
• Postgraduate certificate in ICU, HDU, or CCU is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist the nursing team with planning, assessment, implementation and evaluation of high-quality, person-centred patient care.
• Demonstrate professional practice in line with AHPRA standards and Healthscope policies.
• Support learning through clinical presentations and ongoing professional development for staff and students.
• Act as a collaborative team member to deliver excellent patient care across the healthcare continuum.
• Coordinate with external partners to ensure high-quality care and maintain strong relationships with VMO partners.
