Job summary

Northern Beaches Hospital is looking for experienced nurses to join the Intensive Care Unit team. This permanent full-time role offers 12 hour shifts and a balanced work life. The unit provides advanced critical care, including invasive monitoring and ventilation support, within a dedicated 20-bed ICU.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse - Division 1 with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Demonstrated effective interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Current clinical knowledge and clinical problem solving ability.
• Demonstrated previous experience in an acute ICU ward.
• Post graduate qualification in Critical Care.

Responsibilities

• Be a pro-active team player, mentor junior staff and participate in quality improvement.
• Rotational 24/7 roster with flexible self-rostering and 12 hour shifts.
• Support ICU services including invasive monitoring, ventilation and cardio-vascular care.
