Job summary

SESLHD is seeking a passionate Registered Nurse to join the Intensive Care Unit at Prince of Wales Hospital. The role focuses on delivering high-quality, person-centred care in a busy ICU environment, with accountability for nursing care, documentation and teamwork across disciplines.

The position offers a permanent full-time contract with a 38-hour week, generous benefits and ongoing professional development opportunities within NSW Health.

Qualifications

• Registered with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
• Demonstrated recent clinical experience in an intensive care setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement ICU nursing care and assessments.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and timely records.
• Communicate effectively with patients, carers and the multidisciplinary team.
• Supervise Enrolled Nurses and Assistants within scope of practice.
• Participate in quality improvement, clinical supervision and ongoing professional development.
