Ashford Hospital is seeking highly motivated Registered Nurses to join our fast-paced Critical Care Unit (ICU). This role covers post-operative cardiothoracic and general surgical patients, with opportunities to develop in intensive care through education, mentorship, and professional development.

Qualifications

• Current South Australian DHS Working with Children Clearance
• Current AHPRA Registration
• Minimum of 3 years Nursing Experience in High Acuity Surgical or Critical Care
• Demonstrated understanding of National Safety and Quality Service Standards
• Staff will be required to provide proof of immunity / vaccination to specified infectious diseases
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to lead by example, demonstrating the professionalism and culture of Ashford Hospital
• Committed to continuous quality improvement
• Committed to provision of quality nursing care, education and customer service
• Proven communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Working in a busy cardiothoracic and general ICU
• Includes looking after post operative cardiothoracic and general surgical patients, as well as patients with complex medical conditions, inclusive of dialysis, ventilation and non-invasive ventilation.
• Work in a fast paced environment
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, whilstdeliveringsafe and patient focused care.
