Job summary

Aspirante is seeking an organised and proactive Project Officer to join the Queensland Protection Commission ICT Program within the Department of Justice. You will coordinate governance, support reporting, and help assure delivery across ICT-led projects supporting child safeguarding reform.

The role involves stakeholder engagement, documentation, and program coordination in a high-profile government program.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Project Officer or PMO Officer within an ICT program.
• Experience supporting project governance, reporting and assurance activities.
• Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to coordinate meetings, workshops and senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate governance meetings, including agendas, papers and minutes.
• Support monthly project reporting and assurance activities.
• Maintain action, decision and other program registers.
• Develop and update project documentation and delivery artefacts.
• Coordinate workshops involving stakeholders at varying levels of seniority.
• Manage shared mailboxes, calendars and general program coordination.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding and other administrative activities.
• Support process improvements across the program and portfolio team.
