Job summary

Zeal Personnel is seeking experienced Instrumentation Technicians to support commissioning on the Parker Point CWSS in the West Pilbara. Roles are initially 6 months, with a 2:1 roster, performing loop checks, calibration and testing in a heavy industrial environment.

Hazards are managed with strong safety emphasis and teamwork within a commissioning crew. Applicants should have trade qualifications in instrumentation or related fields and experience in mining/oil & gas sectors.

Qualifications

• Trade qualifications or formal training in instrumentation, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• Experience in oil, gas, mining or manufacturing sectors is advantageous.
• Rio Tinto inductions and site competencies are highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, and commission level transmitters including VEGA units.
• Test and verify 4–20 mA instrumentation using HART communicators.
• Configure instruments to meet project specifications and operating parameters.
• Test motor instrumentation, including thermistors and vibration sensors.
• Set up and verify valve limit switches for correct operation.
• Configure and commission magnetic flow meters and related instrumentation.
• Support testing and commissioning of process analysers and related systems.
• Read schematics, loop diagrams, and termination drawings for installation.
• Carry out instrument loop checks and functional testing to support milestones.

I&C Technicians- Pilbara- Contract or Casual- $95 per hour---* $95 p/h | 2:1 roster | mid November* Coastal project* Support Rio Tinto's operations and the wider West Pilbara region **I&C Technicians Parker Point - CWSS Commissioning Support Works** We are seeking experienced Instrument Technicians to support commissioning works on the Parker Point CWSS. Instrumentation Technician roles are initially being offered on a 6-month basis with a possibility for extension and will operate on a 2:1 roster. This role will involve instrument loop checks, calibration, configuration, and functional testing in an industrial environment.
