Job summary

OCS is hiring a Hygiene Operative to support our client’s site. You will help maintain clean, safe environments and adhere to safety protocols, with potential use of heavy equipment and working at heights.

The role runs Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 12:00 to 16:00, requiring flexibility and a proactive approach to hygiene standards. Experience in cleaning is advantageous; willingness to work at height and COSHH/IOSH training are desirable.

About The Role

We are currently recruiting for a Hygiene Operative to support our client’s site.

At OCS, our cleaners play an important part in providing safe, clean environments in which our customers can thrive in their workspaces.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• An awareness of the need to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure work environment.
• This role may require the use of heavy industrial equipment, specialist chemicals and working at heights.

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

• You must have Right to Work in the UK
• A background working in cleaning would be advantageous.
• Willingness to work at height.
• COSHH and IOSH trained desirable.

Due to the nature of this role, you will need access to a smartphone that can support our approved work applications for tasks such as clocking in and out (if you are required to use our time and attendance system for your role), viewing schedules, completing training and receiving work-related communications.
