Job summary

Private Media is Australia’s leading independent digital media company with seven publications and a growing video content department. We are seeking a creative Video Content Producer for SmartCo Media, handling end-to-end production and hands-on editing.

You will balance producing with editing, delivering engaging video for clients and our brands. You will work under the Head of Production, coordinating shoots, timelines, and delivery across projects, with a hybrid Sydney-based role requiring

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on video editing experience.
• Proficiency with Premiere Pro end-to-end editing.
• Ability to edit with After Effects templates and green screen keys.

Responsibilities

• Develop and present creative video concepts and scripts.
• Interview talent on set to extract strong responses.
• Lead pre-production logistics and shoot scheduling.
• Collaborate with Head of Production to meet client brief.
• Map post-production timelines and ensure QA.
• Own editing workflow, color grading, audio mixing, music.
• Maintain clean project files and timelines.
• Manage client feedback with emotional intelligence.
• Travel nationally and potentially internationally to shoots.
