Job summary

Arjo is seeking a Hybrid Technician in Ballina to deliver, install, assemble and collect medical equipment as part of our rental service. You will test, service, repair, clean and sanitise equipment, primarily pressure care mattresses and pumps, while maintaining a high standard of customer service and safety.

The role is physical and requires a driver's licence, with a company van provided. Training will be given for NSW-specific certifications and infection control practices.

Qualifications

• Delivery driving, installing equipment and/or courier work experience.
• Customer service oriented; confident interactions in healthcare.
• Current and valid Class C driver's licence.
• Ability to route plan effectively.
• Infection control experience or exposure is advantageous.
• 1st line repair of electrical equipment is advantageous.
• NSW Test and Tag Certification preferred but training provided.
• Comfort with devices such as an iPad and computer systems.
• Ability to work without direct supervision yet within a team.

A great opportunity now exists for an enthusiastic Rental Equipment Driver & Repairs Technician to join our operations team based in Ballina NNSW. Experience in cleaning medical equipment and / or electrical repairs would be an advantage but training will be provided to the successful candidate. This is an exciting time to join Arjo!

This is a permanent full-time position.

Your role will involve:

The role of the Hybrid Technician is to deliver, install, assemble and collect medical equipment as part of the rental service offered to our customers. Your role will also involve testing, servicing, repairs, cleaning and sanitisation of equipment mostly pressure care mattresses and pumps.

This is a physical role that requires a fit and energetic person.

A Company Van will be supplied to complete duties as part of the role.

To be successful in this position, you will possess:

• Delivery Driving, installing equipment and/or courier work or transferable skills or experience;
• Customer service, be well presented, confident and sensitivity interacting with staff and clients in a Healthcare environment;
• A current and valid Driver's licence (Class C) is essential;
• You will be required to drive a van and be able to route plan effectively;
• Experience in cleaning and infection control ideal, but not essential;
• Experience of 1st line repair of electrical equipment advantageous;
• NSW Test and Tag Certification preferred but not essential – training can be provided;
• Be comfortable working with devices such as an iPad and computer systems;
• Have a passion for delivering excellent customer service interacting with staff and customers;
• The ability to work without direct supervision yet within a team environment;
