Job summary

VetPartners in Sydney, NSW, is seeking a Payroll Officer to join a high-performing team. You’ll manage end-to-end payroll for clinics and the support office, ensuring accuracy and on-time payments across Australia and New Zealand.

Reporting to the Payroll Team Leader, you’ll maintain employee data, handle leave and timesheets, resolve payroll queries, and assist with statutory submissions and audits. Hybrid work and ongoing training are offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' payroll experience.
• Knowledge of Australian and/or New Zealand payroll legislation.
• Experience interpreting Awards or Enterprise Agreements.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy on pay runs.
• Excellent communication and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Process end-to-end weekly and fortnightly payrolls.
• Maintaining payroll data, timesheets and leave balances.
• Investigate and resolve payroll queries promptly.
• Prepare payroll reports, reconciliations and statutory submissions.
• Support compliance with payroll legislation and audits.
• Build relationships with clinics and stakeholders and improve processes.
