Job summary

Auto & General is seeking a Desktop & Service Support Analyst for our Kawana office on the Sunshine Coast. This hybrid role blends Service Desk duties with direct onsite technical support, providing ICT assistance across multiple channels and coordinating with the Service Desk team to triage issues.

The successful candidate will have 1–2 years of frontline IT support experience, solid knowledge of Windows/macOS/Linux, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of Service Desk experience or equivalent frontline IT support.
• Experience with onsite technical support or desktop support preferred.
• Strong knowledge of frontline IT support and desktop environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide ICT support to users via telephone, remote, face-to-face, and onsite channels.
• Respond to inquiries promptly with accurate information and effective solutions.
• Resolve non-complex and moderately complex technical issues to minimise downtime.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues at the user's workstation.
• Provide onsite walkup support for urgent/complex issues at Kawana office and facilities.
• Manage onsite workload, balancing reactive requests with maintenance tasks.
• Log and maintain records of service requests and incidents with timely updates.
